12fill VMP semi auto filling machine

• Dosing and filling of viscous food products such as pastes, creams, and sauces into various containers.
• Small to medium-scale production environments requiring precise volumetric filling.
• Packaging of cosmetic products like lotions and gels.
• Filling of pharmaceutical ointments and suspensions where semi-automatic operation is suitable.

Filling Range

Typically 50ml to 1000ml, though specific units may vary. This unit is stated to handle 100ml to 1000ml.

Throughput

For this class of equipment, throughput commonly ranges from 10 to 30 fills per minute. This unit is stated to achieve up to 25 fills per minute.

Dosing System

Volumetric piston dosing is standard for semi-automatic machines handling viscous products, ensuring consistent fill volumes.

Product Suitability

Designed for viscous products; units of this type are generally not suitable for very thin liquids or products with large particulates.

Power Supply

Commonly operates on standard single-phase UK mains electricity (230V) and often requires a compressed air supply for pneumatic operation.

Footprint

Semi-automatic fillers are typically compact, often mounted on mobile frames for flexible placement within a production area.

Material Construction

Product contact parts are typically made from food-grade stainless steel (e.g., 304 or 316) for hygiene and corrosion resistance.

• What types of containers can this machine fill?

Semi-automatic volumetric fillers are versatile and can typically fill a range of containers including bottles, jars, pouches, and tubs, provided the container opening is suitable for the nozzle.

• Is this machine suitable for hot filling?

• What maintenance is typically required for a semi-automatic filling machine?

• Can the fill volume be easily adjusted?

• Does this machine require a compressed air supply?

Filling machines remain sought-after on the secondhand market due to their durability and long operational lifespan. Buyers typically value models from established manufacturers known for robust construction. When purchasing used units, inspectors should verify seal integrity, calibration accuracy, and maintenance history, as these directly affect product consistency and line efficiency. Common strengths include straightforward mechanical design facilitating repairs and adaptability to different container sizes. Reliability and minimal downtime are frequently cited priorities among processors seeking cost-effective production solutions.
