Beldos - Belgun depositor

• Depositing batters and creams into baking trays and moulds.
• Filling pastries, tarts, and other confectionery items.
• Portioning sauces, purees, and viscous liquids in food production.
• Applying fillings to savoury products like pies and pasties.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, depositors can range from a few hundred deposits per hour for manual operation to several thousand for automated systems.

Power supply

Units commonly found on units of this type typically require a standard single-phase electrical supply (e.g., 230V, 50Hz) for control systems, alongside a compressed air supply for pneumatic operation.

Deposit volume range

Typically, depositors offer adjustable deposit volumes, often from a few millilitres up to several hundred millilitres per shot, depending on the piston size.

Materials of construction

Contact parts are commonly manufactured from food-grade stainless steel (e.g., 304 or 316) for hygiene and durability.

Footprint

Benchtop models are compact, while floor-standing units will require more space. Buyers should confirm exact dimensions with the seller.

Air supply requirements

An air-rise and fall system typically requires a clean, dry compressed air supply, commonly around 6-8 bar.

• What products is a Belgun depositor suitable for?

Belgun depositors are generally suitable for a wide range of viscous and semi-viscous products, including batters, creams, jams, sauces, and purees. The specific product suitability can depend on nozzle size and product consistency.

• What should I check when buying a used Beldos depositor?

Food depositors are valued for their precision, consistency and reliability in portioning applications across bakery, confectionery and prepared foods sectors. Buyers typically prioritise machines with minimal wear, clear maintenance histories and compatible control systems. Key strengths include durability when properly serviced, adaptability to various product viscosities, and straightforward operation. When purchasing used equipment, inspecting nozzles, pumps and pneumatic components is essential, as wear directly affects deposit accuracy. Machines from reputable manufacturers with documented service records generally command buyer confidence and deliver strong long-term value.
