Bizerba - Checkweigher 2.0

• Ensuring products meet specified weight tolerances in food packaging lines.
• Minimising product giveaway and reducing waste by identifying under/overweight items.
• Verifying count by weight for bulk packed items.
• Detecting missing components in multi-pack products.
• Facilitating compliance with weight-related regulations and standards.

Typical throughput

For this class of equipment, throughput commonly ranges from 60 to 300 items per minute, depending on product size and weight.

Weighing range

Units of this type typically handle products from a few grams up to 5-10 kg.

Accuracy

Commonly, accuracy for checkweighers in this category is ±0.5g to ±2g, depending on the product and speed.

Power supply

These machines typically require a single-phase 230V AC supply, with some models needing a 3-phase connection.

Conveyor belt width

Commonly found belt widths are between 200mm and 400mm, suitable for a range of product sizes.

Rejection system

Units typically feature air blast, pusher, or drop-down reject mechanisms for non-conforming products.
