Siat - Box Taper SIAT

• Sealing corrugated cardboard boxes in packaging lines.
• Used in dispatch areas for e-commerce and logistics operations.
• Suitable for end-of-line packaging in various manufacturing sectors.
• Often found in warehouses and distribution centres for carton closure.

Typical throughput

For a semi-automatic unit, typically 10-20 cartons per minute, depending on operator efficiency and carton size.

Power supply

Commonly requires a standard single-phase 230V, 50Hz electrical supply for this class of equipment.

Suitable carton dimensions

Units of this type typically handle a range of carton sizes; buyers should confirm the minimum and maximum dimensions for this specific SK2-5 model with the seller.

Tape width

Often designed for standard packaging tape widths, typically 50mm or 75mm.

Footprint

Strapping equipment remains reliable for securing packaged goods across food processing operations. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent tension control, minimal downtime, and straightforward maintenance. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on strapping heads, motor function, and sensor calibration. Industry sentiment favours equipment with proven track records in high-volume environments. Key strengths include durability, energy efficiency, and compatibility with various film types. Proper mechanical condition and operational history are essential considerations for cost-effective procurement.
