Europplast VCPA315 Centrifugal extraction fan

• Used in food processing facilities for extracting fumes and vapours from cooking areas, fryers, and processing lines.
• Suitable for ventilation in chemical storage areas within food plants, handling corrosive air streams.
• Integrated into waste management systems for odour control and air purification.
• Applied in sanitation areas to remove moisture and chemical fumes from cleaning processes.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, airflow rates typically range from 2,000 to 10,000 m³/h, depending on impeller design and motor size.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly operate on a 400V, 3-phase, 50Hz electrical supply, with motor ratings typically from 2.2kW to 11kW.

Construction material

Often constructed from chemical-resistant plastics such as polypropylene (PP) or PVC for the casing and impeller, suitable for corrosive environments.

Drive type

Direct drive assemblies are common, offering a compact design and reduced maintenance compared to belt-driven units.

Inlet/Outlet diameters

Typically, inlet and outlet diameters range from 250mm to 500mm, designed to integrate with standard ducting systems.

Operating temperature

Generally designed for continuous operation in air streams up to 60-70°C, depending on the specific plastic used.

• What maintenance is typically required for a centrifugal extraction fan?

Routine maintenance usually involves checking the impeller for build-up, inspecting the motor and bearings, and ensuring the casing seals are intact. Chemical-resistant units require less frequent internal cleaning.

• Can this fan handle explosive atmospheres?

• How do I determine the correct fan size for my application?

• What are the common installation requirements?

• Are spare parts readily available for these types of fans?

HVAC drives and controllers are valued for reliable temperature and humidity regulation in controlled laboratory environments. Buyers typically prioritise units with precise calibration history and minimal downtime records. When purchasing used equipment, inspecting control boards, sensor functionality and documentation of maintenance schedules proves essential. These systems gain strong reputation for durability when properly serviced, though older models may lack advanced digital interfaces. Compatibility with existing facility infrastructure remains a common purchasing consideration.
