Grant T100 12L Heating Circulating Bath

• Precise temperature control for laboratory samples and reagents.
• Calibration of sensors and thermometers.
• Material testing requiring stable thermal environments.
• Enzyme reactions and cell culture incubation.

Typical capacity

For this model, a 12-litre bath capacity is specified.

Temperature range

Units of this type typically offer a temperature range from ambient +5°C up to 100°C.

Temperature stability

Commonly, stability for this class of equipment is around ±0.05°C or better.

Circulation pump flow rate

Heating circulating baths often feature a pump with a flow rate of approximately 10-15 litres per minute.

Power supply

Typically requires a standard single-phase electrical supply, commonly 230V, 50/60Hz.

Heating power

Heating power for units of this size is generally in the range of 1.5 kW to 2 kW.

• What is the primary difference between a heating bath and a heating circulating bath?

A heating bath provides static temperature control, whereas a heating circulating bath includes a pump to circulate the heated fluid, offering more uniform temperature distribution and the ability to heat external apparatus.

• Can this unit be used for external circulation?

• What type of fluid should be used in the bath?

• What maintenance is typically required for a heating circulating bath?

• Is this unit suitable for continuous operation?

Water baths and heating baths are generally valued in laboratory and biotech settings for their reliability and precision temperature control. When purchasing used units, buyers typically prioritize checking heating uniformity, control system functionality, and tank condition to avoid corrosion issues. These devices are known for their durability and long operational lifespan when properly maintained. Industry sentiment favors established brands known for consistent performance and availability of spare parts.
