Haloila - CobraX Pallet Wrapper

• Securing palletised goods for transport and storage in warehouses and distribution centres.
• Protecting products from dust, moisture, and damage during transit within manufacturing facilities.
• Stabilising irregular loads to prevent shifting and ensure safe handling.
• Enhancing load integrity for retail and wholesale distribution.

Typical capacity

Pallet wrappers of this class typically handle standard Euro pallets (1200x800mm) and UK pallets (1200x1000mm), with a maximum load height commonly up to 2200mm.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a 230V, single-phase, 50Hz electrical supply, though some industrial models may use 400V, three-phase.

Film type

This equipment typically uses standard stretch film rolls, commonly 500mm wide with a core diameter of 76mm.

Throughput

For semi-automatic models, throughput is typically between 20-40 pallets per hour, depending on the operator and wrap program.

Footprint

A typical semi-automatic pallet wrapper requires a floor area of approximately 2500mm x 1500mm, plus additional space for pallet loading and unloading.

Load weight capacity

Units in this category commonly accommodate palletised loads weighing up to 2000kg.

• What is the difference between a semi-automatic and automatic pallet wrapper?

A semi-automatic wrapper requires an operator to load the pallet, attach the film, and cut it at the end of the cycle. An automatic wrapper performs these tasks without manual intervention, often integrating into a conveyor system.

• What type of stretch film is suitable for a CobraX Pallet Wrapper?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used pallet wrapper?

• Can this unit handle unstable or irregular loads?

• What safety features are commonly found on these machines?

Strapping equipment remains reliable for securing packaged goods across food processing operations. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent tension control, minimal downtime, and straightforward maintenance. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on strapping heads, motor function, and sensor calibration. Industry sentiment favours equipment with proven track records in high-volume environments. Key strengths include durability, energy efficiency, and compatibility with various film types. Proper mechanical condition and operational history are essential considerations for cost-effective procurement.
