JC Sample Washer - JC Rotary Dip Wheel

• Used for applying marinades, glazes, or coatings to various meat products such as poultry, red meat, and fish.
• Ideal for achieving consistent and even coverage on products prior to cooking, freezing, or further processing.
• Often integrated into production lines for products like coated chicken portions, marinated steaks, or breaded fish fillets.

Typical throughput

Typically designed for continuous operation, with throughput dependent on product size and line speed.

Power supply

Commonly requires a standard industrial electrical supply, typically 3-phase, 400V.

Construction material

Units of this type are typically constructed from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Coating method

Utilises a rotating wheel or drum to pick up and apply liquid coatings to products as they pass through.

Footprint

For this class of equipment, the footprint can vary, but typically designed to fit within existing processing lines.

Maintenance

Requires regular cleaning and sanitisation, with periodic checks of moving parts and seals.

• What types of coatings can a rotary dip wheel apply?

A rotary dip wheel is suitable for applying a wide range of liquid coatings, including marinades, glazes, brines, and some batters. The viscosity of the coating is a key factor.

• Is this equipment suitable for all product sizes?

• How easy is it to clean and maintain?

• Can the coating thickness be adjusted?

• What are the typical safety features?

Meat coating equipment holds a solid reputation for improving product consistency and presentation in poultry and meat processing operations. Buyers typically prioritize even coating application, ease of cleaning, and durability of contact surfaces when selecting used units. Key strengths include reduced product waste, faster processing speeds, and minimal operator intervention required. Potential purchasers should examine coating drums or belts for wear, verify spray nozzle functionality, and confirm electrical and mechanical components operate smoothly. Well-maintained machines generally deliver reliable performance in demanding production environments.
