OK Corp - kliklok-Woodman Prima endload cartoner

• Packaging of bakery products such as cakes, pastries, and biscuits into cartons.
• Cartoning of frozen foods including ready meals, pizzas, and desserts.
• Packaging of confectionery items like chocolate bars and sweets.
• Suitable for non-food items such as small hardware, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, speeds commonly range from 80 to 200 cartons per minute, depending on product and carton size.

Power supply

Units of this type typically require a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz, with appropriate amperage.

Construction material

As described, this unit is all stainless steel, which is common for hygiene-critical applications in food processing.

Carton size range

Endload cartoners are generally versatile, accommodating a range of carton dimensions; specific sizes would depend on the change parts installed.

Pitch

The mention of 6" and 12" pitch suggests flexibility for different product lengths or carton configurations.

Footprint

A high-performance endload cartoner typically requires a significant operational footprint, often several metres in length.

Air supply

Pneumatic systems are commonly used for carton erection and product insertion, requiring a clean, dry compressed air supply.

• What does 'endload cartoner' mean?

An endload cartoner inserts a product horizontally into a carton from the open end, which is then sealed. This method is common for products with a consistent shape.

• Is a 1996 manufactured machine still viable?

• What kind of maintenance is typically required for this equipment?

• Can this machine handle different carton types?

Cartoning equipment holds strong reputation for reliability in pharmaceutical and food processing sectors. Buyers typically value machines offering consistent case erection, product loading and sealing with minimal downtime. When purchasing used units, inspectors should assess wear on servo motors, gripper mechanisms and seal tooling, as these components incur significant usage. Industry sentiment favours models demonstrating straightforward maintenance access and parts availability. Durable construction and precise automation remain key strengths. Operational history and maintenance records prove essential evaluation criteria for secondhand purchases.
