Unknown - Lazy Susan Rotary Table

• Used for manual or automated product accumulation and buffering on production lines.
• Facilitates sorting and inspection tasks by presenting items to operators or vision systems.
• Commonly integrated into packaging lines for product loading, unloading, or orientation.
• Provides a stable, rotating platform for assembly operations or material handling.
• Utilised in food processing for cooling, drying, or seasoning applications where product rotation is beneficial.

Typical diameter

Commonly ranges from 600mm to 1800mm, depending on the application and product size.

Power supply

Electrically driven units typically require a 230V single-phase or 400V three-phase supply, often with variable speed control.

Table material

Often constructed from stainless steel (304 or 316 grade) for hygiene and corrosion resistance, or engineering plastics for lighter duties.

Load capacity

For this class of equipment, load capacities typically range from 50kg to 500kg, depending on construction and motorisation.

Speed range

Variable speed drives are common, offering rotational speeds from 1 to 15 revolutions per minute (RPM).

Footprint

The footprint is primarily determined by the table diameter, plus any motor housing or support frame dimensions.

• What is the primary function of a Lazy Susan Rotary Table in an industrial setting?

Its primary function is to provide a continuously rotating surface for accumulating, buffering, presenting, or orienting products on a production line, improving efficiency and flow.

• Are these tables suitable for food contact applications?

• Can the rotation speed be adjusted?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used unit?

• How is a Lazy Susan Rotary Table integrated into an existing production line?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
