NNP Kibbler

• Reducing the size of large, friable food ingredients into smaller, more manageable pieces.
• Pre-breaking blocks of frozen or solidified food products prior to further processing like milling or grinding.
• De-lumping compacted powders or granulated materials to improve flow and consistency.
• Preparing ingredients for animal feed production by breaking down larger components.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, throughput can range from several hundred kilograms to over a tonne per hour, depending on the material and desired output size.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly operate on a 3-phase industrial electrical supply, often 400V, 50Hz, as indicated by the 7.5kW motor.

Construction material

As described, the unit is stainless steel, which is standard for food processing equipment to ensure hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Motor power

A 7.5kW motor is indicative of a medium-duty kibbler, suitable for breaking down a variety of moderately hard materials.

Output particle size

The output particle size is typically coarse, designed for pre-breaking rather than fine milling, and can often be adjusted via screen or blade configuration.

Footprint

For a unit of this motor size, the footprint is typically compact, designed to integrate into existing production lines without requiring extensive space.

• What is a kibbler used for?

A kibbler is used to break down larger, often solid or compacted, materials into smaller, more uniform pieces. It's a primary reduction machine, preparing ingredients for subsequent processing.

• Can this unit handle frozen blocks?

• Is the output particle size adjustable?

• What maintenance is typically required for a kibbler?

• What safety features should I look for?

Food processing cutters and dicers are valued for consistent product sizing and improved throughput in commercial kitchens and production facilities. Buyers typically prioritise robust construction, ease of cleaning, and reliable blade systems when purchasing used models. The equipment maintains strong reputation for durability across multiple shift operations. Key considerations include motor condition, blade sharpness, and safety guard integrity. Well-maintained units from established manufacturers generally deliver reliable performance at lower capital cost than new alternatives.
