Soco Systems - Non driven roller pallet conveyor

• Used for accumulating and transporting pallets or heavy goods in warehousing.
• Commonly integrated into packing lines for manual loading or unloading stations.
• Suitable for connecting different work cells in a manufacturing facility.
• Often found in dispatch areas for temporary storage before loading onto vehicles.

Typical capacity

Typically handles pallet weights ranging from 500 kg to 2000 kg, depending on roller strength and spacing.

Roller material

Commonly features steel rollers, though some units may have galvanised or stainless steel for specific environments.

Frame material

Typically constructed from robust mild steel, often painted or powder-coated for durability.

Roller diameter

Commonly found with roller diameters between 60mm and 89mm for pallet handling.

Conveyor width

Units are typically sized to accommodate standard Euro pallets (1200x800mm) or UK pallets (1200x1000mm).

Power supply

As a non-driven unit, no external power supply is required for operation.

• What is a 'non-driven' roller pallet conveyor?

A non-driven conveyor means the rollers move freely, relying on gravity or manual pushing to transport items. It does not have a motor or powered drive system.

• Is this suitable for inclined applications?

• What kind of maintenance does this equipment require?

• Can this conveyor be easily integrated with other systems?

• What are the common uses for a used non-driven pallet conveyor?

Buyers typically value conveyor systems for their reliability and longevity when well-maintained. Key considerations when purchasing used units include belt condition, motor functionality, frame integrity, and available spare parts. Industry sentiment emphasises the importance of verifying operational history and cleanliness standards, particularly for food handling applications. Common strengths include robust construction, relatively straightforward maintenance requirements, and cost savings versus new equipment. Reputable manufacturers' models tend to hold their value well and integrate readily into existing production lines.
