What maintenance is typically required for a Probatino 1Kg roaster?

Routine cleaning of the drum, cyclone, and exhaust system is essential. Regular checks of gas lines, electrical connections, and temperature probes are also recommended to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Can this type of roaster be used for products other than coffee?

While primarily designed for coffee, some users adapt these roasters for small-batch roasting of nuts, cocoa beans, or other specialty grains, though specific modifications or considerations may be necessary.

What are the typical ventilation requirements for a roaster of this size?

A dedicated exhaust system is crucial to remove smoke and chaff. This typically involves a connection to an external vent or a suitable filtration unit to comply with local regulations.

Are spare parts readily available for Probatino models?

Probat is a well-established manufacturer, and spare parts for their Probatino range are generally available through authorised distributors or specialist suppliers.

What is the benefit of a frequency drive on the exhaust?

A frequency drive allows for precise, stepless control over the exhaust fan speed. This enables more accurate airflow adjustments during roasting, contributing to better roast profiling and consistency.
