Rotoplat Pallet Wrapper

• Securing palletised goods for transport or storage in warehouses and distribution centres.
• Wrapping products in manufacturing facilities to protect against dust and moisture.
• Stabilising unstable loads to prevent shifting during transit.
• Preparing goods for export, ensuring loads meet shipping requirements.

Typical capacity

Typically handles loads up to 2000 kg for this class of equipment.

Power supply

Commonly requires a single-phase 230V, 50Hz electrical supply.

Maximum pallet dimensions

Typically accommodates pallets up to 1200mm x 1200mm, with a maximum height of around 2200mm.

Film type

Designed for use with stretch film, commonly 17-35 micron thickness.

Turntable diameter

Units of this type commonly feature a turntable diameter of approximately 1500mm to 1650mm.

Wrap programs

Typically offers multiple programmable wrap cycles, including top sheet application and reinforcement wraps.

Pre-stretch system

The PDS designation indicates a powered dual-stretch system, typically offering film pre-stretch ratios up to 250%.

• What does 'PDS' in the model name signify?

PDS typically stands for 'Powered Dual Stretch', indicating the machine has a motorised pre-stretch carriage that significantly reduces film consumption compared to mechanical brake systems.

• What kind of film does this machine use?

• Is installation complex for a used pallet wrapper?

• What maintenance is typically required for a Rotoplat 507.1PDS?

• Can this unit handle unstable loads?

Used sealing machines are generally valued for their durability and long operational life. Buyers typically prioritize machines with clear maintenance histories and minimal wear on sealing components. Key considerations include film compatibility, seal quality consistency, and ease of adjustment. Reputable models tend to retain functionality well across multiple applications. Industry sentiment suggests these machines offer strong value when sourced from reliable vendors, though operators should verify calibration settings and test seal integrity before full production use.
