About Multivac

Multivac was founded in 1961 by Sepp Haggenmueller and Hermann Keil in a garage in Wolfertschwenden, Germany. The company went on to become one of the leading manufacturers of packaging machines worldwide, remaining family owned. Its thermoforming machines and vacuum chamber machines are used across food, medical and consumer goods packaging. The range includes the R series thermoformers and chamber machines used for meat, cheese, ready meals and a wide range of food products. Multivac's combination of precision sealing and consistent cycle times makes its machines a common sight in food packaging plants, and used units retain strong demand.
