Soco Rotary table

• Used for accumulating products at the end of a production line.
• Ideal for buffering items before packaging or further processing.
• Facilitates manual inspection or sorting of products.
• Can be integrated into conveyor systems to change product flow direction or orientation.

Typical diameter

Rotary tables in this class commonly range from 800mm to 1500mm, with 1200mm being a frequent size.

Power supply

Units of this type typically operate on a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz in the UK.

Speed control

Variable speed functionality is commonly found, allowing adjustment to suit different product throughputs.

Mobility

Many rotary tables are designed to be mobile, often fitted with castors for flexible placement within a facility.

Construction material

For food processing applications, stainless steel contact parts are typical to ensure hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Throughput

Throughput capacity is highly variable, depending on product size, accumulation requirements, and line speed.

• What types of products are suitable for a rotary table?

Rotary tables are versatile and can handle a wide range of products, including bottles, jars, pouches, small cartons, and individually wrapped items, provided they are stable enough to remain upright on the rotating surface.

• How does variable speed benefit my operation?

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

• What maintenance is typically required for a rotary table?

• Can a rotary table be integrated into an existing production line?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
