• Sealing the bottom flaps of corrugated cases in packaging lines.
• Automating the closure process for various product types prior to filling.
• Integrating into end-of-line packaging systems for efficiency.
• Handling a range of case sizes for diverse product packaging.
• Used in industries requiring consistent and secure case sealing.

Typical throughput

Units of this class commonly achieve speeds of 10-25 cases per minute, depending on case size and line integration.

Power supply

Typically requires a 400V, 3-phase electrical supply, with some models operating on 230V, 1-phase.

Air consumption

Pneumatic systems commonly require 6-8 bar compressed air, with consumption varying by cycle.

Case size range

Automatic adjustment features typically accommodate a wide range of case dimensions, often from small to large industrial sizes.

Sealing method

This type of unit typically uses adhesive tape for bottom closure.

Footprint

For this class of equipment, a typical footprint might be around 1500mm (L) x 900mm (W) x 1500mm (H), excluding infeed/outfeed conveyors.

Material compatibility

Designed for sealing standard corrugated cardboard cases.

• What kind of tape does a T-55 Bottom Sealer use?

Units of this type typically use standard adhesive packaging tape, commonly 50mm or 75mm wide, on a roll.

• Can this machine handle different case sizes automatically?

• What maintenance is typically required for a bottom sealer?

• Is this unit suitable for integration into an existing packaging line?

• What are the benefits of an automatic bottom sealer over a manual one?

Used sealing machines are generally valued for their durability and long operational life. Buyers typically prioritize machines with clear maintenance histories and minimal wear on sealing components. Key considerations include film compatibility, seal quality consistency, and ease of adjustment. Reputable models tend to retain functionality well across multiple applications. Industry sentiment suggests these machines offer strong value when sourced from reliable vendors, though operators should verify calibration settings and test seal integrity before full production use.
