Ditting KF1800

• Used in coffee roasting facilities for grinding roasted coffee beans into various consistencies.
• Suitable for large-scale retail environments requiring on-demand coffee grinding.
• Utilised in food processing plants for grinding other dry, non-oily food products.
• Often found in industrial settings where precise particle size reduction of granular materials is required.

Typical throughput

For this class of equipment, throughput commonly ranges from 100 kg/h to 300 kg/h, depending on the grind setting.

Power supply

Units of this type typically operate on a three-phase industrial power supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz in Europe.

Grinding mechanism

Features precision burr grinders, commonly made from hardened steel, designed for consistent particle size.

Hopper capacity

Typically, the integrated bean hopper on such grinders holds between 15 kg and 30 kg of whole beans.

Grind adjustment

Units commonly offer stepless or multi-step grind adjustment for various brewing methods, from espresso to filter.

Footprint

For this model, the footprint is typically around 60 cm (width) x 80 cm (depth) x 160 cm (height), requiring adequate floor space.

Construction material

The housing is generally constructed from durable materials such as stainless steel or robust sheet metal for industrial use.

• What types of coffee grind can this machine produce?

This type of grinder is designed to produce a wide range of grind sizes, from very fine for espresso to coarse for French press, depending on the adjustable settings.

• What maintenance is typically required for a Ditting KF1800?

• Can this grinder process other products besides coffee?

• What are the typical safety features on such an industrial grinder?

Food processing mills are valued for consistent particle size reduction across grain, spice and dry ingredient applications. Buyers typically prioritise motor condition, grinding chamber cleanliness and wear on grinding elements when purchasing used equipment. Industry sentiment highlights reliability and longevity as key strengths, particularly with well-maintained units. Attention should be given to throughput capacity matching production needs and compatibility with existing systems. Corrosion resistance matters for hygiene-sensitive environments. Reputable machines from established manufacturers generally command buyer confidence in the secondary market.
