Endoline 702 Box Taper

• Sealing corrugated cardboard boxes in high-volume packaging lines.
• Automating the final stage of packaging for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical products.
• Securing cartons in logistics and distribution centres.
• Streamlining end-of-line processes in manufacturing facilities.

Typical throughput

Units of this class commonly achieve speeds of 20-30 cases per minute, depending on case size and line integration.

Power supply

Typically requires a 400V, 3-phase electrical supply, though single-phase options can be found on some models.

Compressed air

Often requires a clean, dry compressed air supply at 6 bar for pneumatic components.

Case size range

For this class of equipment, minimum and maximum case dimensions are typically adjustable, accommodating a wide range of box sizes.

Tape width

Commonly uses 50mm or 75mm wide adhesive tape.

Construction material

As described, this unit is stainless steel, which is typical for hygiene-sensitive environments.

Footprint

A fully automatic case taper typically requires a footprint of approximately 1.5m x 1m, plus space for infeed and outfeed conveyors.

• What type of tape does this machine use?

This type of box taper typically uses pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, commonly polypropylene or PVC, in standard widths such as 50mm or 75mm.

• Is this machine suitable for random case sizes?

• What maintenance is typically required?

• Can this machine be integrated into an existing packaging line?

• What are the benefits of a stainless steel construction?

Used sealing machines are generally valued for their durability and long operational life. Buyers typically prioritize machines with clear maintenance histories and minimal wear on sealing components. Key considerations include film compatibility, seal quality consistency, and ease of adjustment. Reputable models tend to retain functionality well across multiple applications. Industry sentiment suggests these machines offer strong value when sourced from reliable vendors, though operators should verify calibration settings and test seal integrity before full production use.
