General - Automatic Sole Washer

• Food processing facilities requiring stringent hygiene for personnel entering production zones.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing plants where contamination control is critical.
• Laboratories and cleanroom environments to prevent particulate transfer.
• Any industrial setting where footwear hygiene is essential for product quality or safety.

Typical throughput

Designed for individual personnel use, typically processing one person at a time.

Footprint

For this class of equipment, units commonly feature a compact, floor-mounted design, requiring minimal space.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly operate on standard single-phase industrial power, typically 230V, 50Hz.

Water connection

Requires a mains water supply, typically 1/2" BSP, with a minimum pressure for effective operation.

Drainage

Units commonly require a direct connection to a floor drain or waste system.

Construction material

Typically constructed from stainless steel (e.g., 304 grade) for hygiene and durability in wet environments.

• How does an automatic sole washer operate?

Personnel step onto the unit, activating brushes (often via a sensor or button) that clean the soles and sides of footwear with a mixture of water and cleaning agent.

• What type of cleaning agent is used?

• Is installation complex for this equipment?

• What maintenance is required for a sole washer?

• Can this unit be integrated into existing hygiene stations?

For food processing washing and sanitizing equipment, buyers typically value durability, ease of cleaning, and compliance with hygiene standards. Industry sentiment emphasizes the importance of verifying spray patterns, material quality, and maintenance history when purchasing used units. Stainless steel construction and reliable pump performance are considered key strengths. Buyers should check for corrosion, seal condition, and documentation of regular servicing to ensure food safety compliance.
