Ishida CCW-S-211 14 HEADS WEIGHER

• Accurate weighing and packaging of confectionery items.
• Portioning of snack foods such as crisps, nuts, and biscuits.
• Handling of small, free-flowing granular or particulate products.
• Integration into automated packaging lines for various food products.

Typical capacity

For this class of 14-head multihead weigher, typical weighing capacities can range from a few grams up to several kilograms per discharge, depending on product density and target weight.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with appropriate current ratings for the motor and control systems.

Throughput

Throughput rates for a 14-head weigher are typically high, often exceeding 100 weighments per minute, depending on target weight, product characteristics, and line integration.

Construction materials

Components in contact with food are typically constructed from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Footprint

While specific dimensions vary, these weighers generally require a significant floor area and head height for installation, often integrated above a bagging machine.

Weighing accuracy

Ishida weighers are known for high accuracy, typically achieving weighments within a fraction of a gram of the target weight, minimising product giveaway.

Precision and portable balances are valued for their accuracy and reliability across laboratory and pharmaceutical settings. Buyers typically seek models with proven calibration stability and minimal drift over time. When purchasing used equipment, industry practice emphasises checking calibration certificates, verifying display functionality, and confirming availability of replacement parts. These instruments are generally regarded as durable workhorses that perform well if properly maintained. Key strengths include repeatability, compact design for space-constrained labs, and compatibility with existing analytical workflows.
