Lazy Sue 1.2m Rotating Table

• Used for accumulating products at the end of a processing line, allowing operators time for packing or further processing.
• Ideal for buffering products between different stages of a production line, ensuring a continuous flow.
• Facilitates manual inspection or sorting tasks by presenting products within easy reach of operators.
• Commonly employed in food processing for handling items such as bottles, jars, pouches, or small packaged goods.
• Can be integrated into confectionery lines for cooling or decorating processes.

Typical Diameter

For this class of equipment, diameters commonly range from 0.8m to 1.5m, with 1.2m being a frequent size.

Construction Material

Units of this type typically feature stainless steel frames for hygiene and durability, often with food-grade nylon or UHMW-PE tops.

Power Supply

Commonly requires a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, for motor operation.

Speed Control

Many units incorporate variable speed control, allowing adjustment to match line throughput requirements.

Load Capacity

Typically designed to handle cumulative loads ranging from 50kg to 150kg, depending on construction and motor.

Footprint

The footprint is primarily determined by the table diameter plus any motor housing or control panel extensions.

• What maintenance is typically required for a rotating table?

Routine maintenance usually involves checking motor bearings, gearbox oil levels (if applicable), and ensuring the rotating surface is clean and free from obstructions. Regular cleaning according to hygiene standards is also essential.

• Can this type of table be integrated into an existing production line?

• What are the benefits of a nylon top compared to stainless steel?

• Is variable speed control a standard feature?

• What safety features should I look for?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
