Minipack Galileo classic L sealer

• Packaging individual food items such as baked goods, confectionery, or ready meals.
• Sealing non-food products like books, CDs, or small electronics for retail.
• Creating multi-packs of smaller items for promotional purposes.
• Protecting products from dust, moisture, and tampering during storage and transport.

Typical capacity

For this class of L-sealer, throughput typically ranges from 10 to 20 packs per minute, depending on product size and operator efficiency.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly operate on a single-phase 230V electrical supply, suitable for most industrial and commercial settings in the UK.

Sealing bar dimensions

The specified sealing bars of 560mm x 450mm indicate the maximum film width and product length that can be sealed in one operation.

Film compatibility

L-sealers are typically compatible with various types of shrink film, including PVC, polyolefin, and polyethylene, in roll form.

Footprint

For a mobile unit of this size, the footprint typically requires approximately 1.5m x 1m of floor space, plus an area for film loading and product handling.

Control system

Digital controls commonly found on units of this type allow for precise adjustment of sealing temperature and time, optimising seal quality.

• What is an L-sealer?

An L-sealer is a packaging machine that uses a heated wire or bar to create two seals simultaneously, forming an 'L' shape around a product. This encloses the product in film, often followed by a shrink tunnel.

• What kind of film does this machine use?

• Is a shrink tunnel required with an L-sealer?

• What maintenance is typically required for an L-sealer?

• Can this machine handle different product sizes?

Used sealing machines are generally valued for their durability and long operational life. Buyers typically prioritize machines with clear maintenance histories and minimal wear on sealing components. Key considerations include film compatibility, seal quality consistency, and ease of adjustment. Reputable models tend to retain functionality well across multiple applications. Industry sentiment suggests these machines offer strong value when sourced from reliable vendors, though operators should verify calibration settings and test seal integrity before full production use.
