Priden - Outfeed Incline Conveyor

• Moving products upwards to another processing stage or packaging line.
• Transferring items from a lower-level machine to a higher-level conveyor.
• Loading bulk materials into hoppers or storage bins.
• Elevating finished goods for palletising or onward distribution.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, throughput can range from a few hundred units per hour for lightweight items to several tonnes per hour for bulk materials, depending on belt width and speed.

Power supply

Commonly found on units of this type are 400V, 3-phase electrical supplies, though smaller units may operate on 230V, single-phase.

Belt width

Typically, belt widths vary from 200mm to 1000mm, influencing the size and quantity of items that can be conveyed simultaneously.

Incline angle

Most outfeed incline conveyors offer adjustable or fixed incline angles, commonly between 15 and 45 degrees, depending on the product and application.

Construction material

Frames are typically constructed from mild steel (painted or powder-coated) or stainless steel for hygiene-critical environments. Belts are commonly PVC, PU, or rubber.

Motor power

Motor power typically ranges from 0.37kW to 2.2kW, selected based on the conveyor length, belt width, incline angle, and product weight.

• What types of products can an outfeed incline conveyor handle?

These conveyors are versatile and can handle a wide range of products, including packaged goods, loose components, food items, and bulk materials, provided the belt type and cleats are appropriate for the product.

• Are spare parts readily available for unknown manufacturer conveyors?

• What maintenance is typically required for an incline conveyor?

• Can the speed of the conveyor be adjusted?

• What safety features should I look for?

Buyers typically value conveyor systems for their reliability and longevity when well-maintained. Key considerations when purchasing used units include belt condition, motor functionality, frame integrity, and available spare parts. Industry sentiment emphasises the importance of verifying operational history and cleanliness standards, particularly for food handling applications. Common strengths include robust construction, relatively straightforward maintenance requirements, and cost savings versus new equipment. Reputable manufacturers' models tend to hold their value well and integrate readily into existing production lines.
