Romaco Unipac U 2080 Tube Filler & Sealer

• Filling and sealing of creams, gels, and liquids into tubes for cosmetic products.
• Packaging of pharmaceutical ointments and topical medications.
• Dispensing and sealing of chemical pastes and adhesives.
• Production of personal care items such as toothpaste or hand cream.
• Packaging of food-grade pastes and condiments in tube form.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, mechanical speeds commonly range from 60 to 120 tubes per minute, with actual output depending on product viscosity and tube size.

Tube dimensions

Units of this type typically accommodate tube diameters from 10 mm to 60 mm and lengths from 50 mm to 250 mm.

Working stations

Tube fillers and sealers commonly feature 8 to 12 stations for various processes including tube loading, filling, sealing, and ejection.

Filling accuracy

High-performance machines are generally designed to offer filling accuracy within +/- 0.5%.

Power supply

Typically requires a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz, with an appropriate power rating for the motor and heating elements.

Air consumption

Pneumatic systems are common, requiring a compressed air supply, typically 6-8 bar, with specific consumption depending on operational speed.

• What types of tubes can this machine handle?

This category of machine is typically designed to handle a range of tube materials, including plastic, laminate, and aluminium, often requiring specific change parts or sealing technologies for each.

• Is this machine suitable for food products?

• What kind of sealing mechanism does it use?

• Are change parts available for different tube sizes?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used tube filler?

Filling machines remain sought-after on the secondhand market due to their durability and long operational lifespan. Buyers typically value models from established manufacturers known for robust construction. When purchasing used units, inspectors should verify seal integrity, calibration accuracy, and maintenance history, as these directly affect product consistency and line efficiency. Common strengths include straightforward mechanical design facilitating repairs and adaptability to different container sizes. Reliability and minimal downtime are frequently cited priorities among processors seeking cost-effective production solutions.
