Rondo - Pneumatic Depositor

• Depositing batters and doughs for cakes, muffins, and pastries.
• Filling pies, tarts, and quiches with various fillings.
• Portioning sauces, creams, and purees in food production.
• Accurately dispensing viscous products in confectionery and bakery operations.

Typical capacity

Throughput for this class of equipment typically ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 deposits per hour, depending on product viscosity and portion size.

Power supply

Pneumatic depositors commonly require a compressed air supply, typically 6-8 bar, with some units also needing a single-phase electrical connection for controls.

Number of heads

This unit is specified as a 6-head piston depositor, suitable for multi-lane production or higher output requirements.

Integration

The C-frame design and mention of Rondo make-up lines suggest suitability for integration into existing or new production lines, particularly Rondo equipment.

Materials

Components in contact with food are typically constructed from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Footprint

A C-frame depositor of this type typically has a compact footprint, designed to straddle a conveyor or production line.

• What types of products can a pneumatic depositor handle?

Pneumatic depositors are well-suited for a wide range of viscous and semi-viscous products, including batters, creams, fruit fillings, and sauces. Product consistency is key for accurate dispensing.

• What maintenance is typically required for a used pneumatic depositor?

• Can this depositor be integrated with non-Rondo make-up lines?

• What are the benefits of a piston depositor over other types?

• Is specialist training required to operate this equipment?

Food depositors are valued for their precision, consistency and reliability in portioning applications across bakery, confectionery and prepared foods sectors. Buyers typically prioritise machines with minimal wear, clear maintenance histories and compatible control systems. Key strengths include durability when properly serviced, adaptability to various product viscosities, and straightforward operation. When purchasing used equipment, inspecting nozzles, pumps and pneumatic components is essential, as wear directly affects deposit accuracy. Machines from reputable manufacturers with documented service records generally command buyer confidence and deliver strong long-term value.
