ISCA - Hand Washing Station

• Food processing facilities requiring stringent hygiene protocols.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments for operator sanitation.
• Healthcare settings, including clinics and laboratories.
• Industrial kitchens and catering operations.
• High-care production areas in various manufacturing sectors.

Typical capacity

Designed for single-user operation, facilitating sequential handwashing and sanitising.

Power supply

Units with sensor operation typically require a standard single-phase electrical supply (e.g., 230V, 50Hz) for the sensor and any integrated heating elements or pumps.

Materials of construction

Commonly constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel for hygiene and durability in demanding environments.

Operation method

This class of equipment often features sensor-activated or knee-operated water flow to minimise cross-contamination.

Dispenser types

Typically includes integrated dispensers for soap, disinfectant, and paper towels, along with a waste bin.

Mounting

Units of this type are commonly wall-mounted to save floor space and facilitate cleaning.

• What are the common water supply requirements for a hand washing station?

These units typically require a mains cold water supply, and often a hot water supply for temperature-controlled washing. Water pressure requirements are usually standard for commercial plumbing.

• Is installation complex for a wall-mounted unit?

• How often do the dispensers need refilling?

• Are spare parts readily available for ISCA equipment?

• What maintenance is typically required for a hand washing station?

For food processing washing and sanitizing equipment, buyers typically value durability, ease of cleaning, and compliance with hygiene standards. Industry sentiment emphasizes the importance of verifying spray patterns, material quality, and maintenance history when purchasing used units. Stainless steel construction and reliable pump performance are considered key strengths. Buyers should check for corrosion, seal condition, and documentation of regular servicing to ensure food safety compliance.
