Typical capacity

Throughput for this class of equipment commonly ranges from 10 to 60 deposits per minute, depending on product viscosity and nozzle configuration.

Power supply

Units of this type typically operate on a standard single-phase 230V, 50Hz electrical supply, with some larger models requiring three-phase power.

Deposit volume range

Commonly, depositors offer a volume range from a few millilitres up to several hundred millilitres per deposit, adjustable via controls.

Footprint

A typical Ispot depositor, depending on its configuration (e.g., benchtop or freestanding), might occupy a space of approximately 600mm x 800mm to 1200mm x 1000mm.

Materials of construction

Product contact parts are typically made from food-grade stainless steel (e.g., 304 or 316) for hygiene and durability.

Hopper capacity

Integrated hoppers commonly range from 10 to 50 litres, designed for continuous feeding of product.

• What types of products can an Ispot Depositor handle?

Ispot Depositors are generally suitable for a wide range of viscous and semi-viscous products, including batters, creams, fruit fillings, sauces, and purees. Product consistency is a key factor.

• Is this unit suitable for hot or cold depositing?

• What kind of maintenance does a used depositor require?

• Can the deposit volume be adjusted?

• Are spare parts readily available for unknown manufacturer models?

Food processing depositors are valued for their precision, consistency, and reliability in portion control across bakery, confectionery, and prepared foods sectors. Buyers typically prioritise machines with proven track records from established manufacturers and seek models with straightforward maintenance requirements. Key considerations when purchasing used units include nozzle condition, pump wear, and calibration accuracy. Industry sentiment favours depositors offering flexibility across product viscosities and portion sizes, alongside readily available spare parts and technical support.
