Zanotti Uniblock GCU5150B2B9E2L Horizontal condensing unit

• Refrigeration systems for cold rooms and freezer rooms in food processing and storage.
• Temperature control for industrial processes requiring consistent cooling.
• HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Specialised climate control for sensitive materials storage.
• Cooling for fermentation and maturation processes in the food and beverage industry.

Typical refrigeration capacity

For this class of horizontal condensing unit, capacities commonly range from 10 kW to 30 kW, depending on the specific model and refrigerant.

Power supply

Units of this type typically require a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V/50Hz in the UK.

Refrigerant type

Modern units often utilise HFC or HFO refrigerants, such as R404A, R407C, or R449A, in line with current environmental regulations.

Fan configuration

A four-fan configuration, as described, is common for units requiring higher heat rejection capacity and often offers improved efficiency.

Mounting

Horizontal condensing units are designed for external mounting, often on rooftops or ground-level pads, to dissipate heat effectively.

Control system

Units typically include integrated control systems for managing compressor operation, fan speed, and defrost cycles.

• What is a horizontal condensing unit?

A horizontal condensing unit is an outdoor component of a refrigeration or air conditioning system that dissipates heat from the refrigerant. Its horizontal design often makes it suitable for rooftop or low-profile installations.

HVAC drives and controllers are valued for reliable temperature and humidity regulation in controlled laboratory environments. Buyers typically prioritise units with precise calibration history and minimal downtime records. When purchasing used equipment, inspecting control boards, sensor functionality and documentation of maintenance schedules proves essential. These systems gain strong reputation for durability when properly serviced, though older models may lack advanced digital interfaces. Compatibility with existing facility infrastructure remains a common purchasing consideration.
