Ziehl Abegg ER63C4DN Centrifugal fan

• Ventilation within food production areas to control temperature and humidity.
• Extraction of process air from ovens, fryers, or drying chambers.
• Air circulation in cold storage rooms and freezers.
• Fume extraction from cleaning stations or chemical storage areas.
• Supply of filtered air to cleanrooms or sterile packaging zones.

Typical air flow

For this class of centrifugal fan, air flow rates commonly range from 5,000 to 20,000 m³/h, depending on the specific impeller design and motor speed.

Power supply

Units of this type typically operate on a three-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz in the UK, with power ratings for the motor varying.

Motor power

Centrifugal fans in this range often feature motor powers from 2.2 kW up to 15 kW, providing sufficient power for demanding air movement tasks.

Impeller type

Ziehl-Abegg ER series fans commonly utilise backward-curved impellers, known for their high efficiency and quiet operation.

Housing material

The housing is typically constructed from galvanised steel for durability, with options for stainless steel in specific food-grade applications.

Operating temperature range

These fans are generally designed to operate effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from -20°C to +40°C, with some models capable of higher temperatures.

• What is the typical lifespan of a used Ziehl-Abegg centrifugal fan?

With proper maintenance, Ziehl-Abegg fans are built for longevity. A used unit's remaining lifespan will depend on its operational history and maintenance record; buyers should inspect bearings and motor condition.

• Can this fan be used in a washdown environment?

• What kind of maintenance does a centrifugal fan require?

• Is this fan suitable for high-temperature applications?

• How do I determine the correct fan size for my application?

HVAC drives and controllers are valued for reliable temperature and humidity regulation in controlled laboratory environments. Buyers typically prioritise units with precise calibration history and minimal downtime records. When purchasing used equipment, inspecting control boards, sensor functionality and documentation of maintenance schedules proves essential. These systems gain strong reputation for durability when properly serviced, though older models may lack advanced digital interfaces. Compatibility with existing facility infrastructure remains a common purchasing consideration.
