C.I.A Srl – Italy

• Packaging whole bean coffee and other granular products into preformed bags.
• Sealing various dry food products, such as nuts, snacks, and grains.
• Packaging non-food items like small parts, chemicals, or pet food.
• Used in production lines requiring vertical bag sealing for stability and throughput.

Typical throughput

For this class of equipment, throughput commonly ranges from 10 to 30 bags per minute, depending on bag size and product characteristics.

Power supply

Units of this type typically operate on a standard industrial electrical supply, commonly 230V or 400V, 3-phase, 50Hz.

Bag material compatibility

Commonly seals a wide range of heat-sealable preformed bag materials, including laminates, foils, and various plastic films.

Bag size range

Features like adjustable conveyors suggest adaptability for various bag sizes, typically accommodating bags from 100g up to 5kg for this type of application.

Sealing mechanism

Vertical bag sealers commonly employ continuous band sealing or impulse sealing technology for consistent, strong seals.

Footprint

The footprint for a vertical bag sealer with an integrated conveyor typically requires a linear space of approximately 1.5 to 2.5 metres in length.

• What type of bags can this machine seal?

This machine is designed for preformed bags made from heat-sealable materials. Buyers should confirm specific material compatibility with the seller.

• Is this machine suitable for liquids or powders?

• What maintenance is typically required for a bag sealer?

• Can this unit be integrated into an existing production line?

• What spare parts are commonly needed for this type of equipment?

Used sealing machines are generally valued for their durability and long operational life. Buyers typically prioritize machines with clear maintenance histories and minimal wear on sealing components. Key considerations include film compatibility, seal quality consistency, and ease of adjustment. Reputable models tend to retain functionality well across multiple applications. Industry sentiment suggests these machines offer strong value when sourced from reliable vendors, though operators should verify calibration settings and test seal integrity before full production use.
