Damak Dough Rounder Machine

• Artisan bakeries for consistent dough ball formation.
• Commercial pizzerias to standardise pizza base preparation.
• Industrial bread production lines for pre-shaping dough.
• Pastry manufacturers requiring uniform dough portions for further processing.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, throughput commonly ranges from 1,000 to 2,500 pieces per hour, depending on dough weight and consistency.

Power supply

Units of this type typically require a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz.

Dough weight range

Suitable for dough pieces typically weighing between 50g and 1,000g, though specific limits vary by model.

Construction material

Often constructed from stainless steel for food contact areas, with a robust frame for durability and hygiene.

Rounding method

Utilises a conical rounding path with a spiralling channel to form dough pieces into a consistent spherical shape.

Footprint

A typical footprint for a conical rounder of this capacity is approximately 1,000mm x 1,000mm, not including infeed or outfeed conveyors.

• What type of dough is suitable for a conical rounder?

Conical rounders are generally suitable for a wide range of dough types, including wheat, rye, and mixed grain doughs, provided they have sufficient elasticity and consistency for shaping.

• How does a conical rounder improve dough quality?

• What maintenance is typically required for this machine?

• Can this machine be integrated into an automated line?

• What safety features are commonly found on these units?

Dough dividers and rounders are valued in bakeries for their consistency and labour savings. Buyers typically prioritize robust construction and reliable portioning accuracy when selecting used models. Industry sentiment reflects appreciation for machines that handle various dough types without jamming. Common strengths include durability of mechanical components and straightforward maintenance. Potential buyers should inspect wear on rollers and dividing mechanisms, verify motor function, and confirm spare parts availability before purchase.
