Laboklav 25B Autoclave

• Sterilisation of laboratory glassware and instruments in research and academic settings.
• Processing of culture media and reagents in microbiology and biotechnology laboratories.
• Decontamination of biological waste prior to disposal in clinical and diagnostic facilities.
• Use in quality control laboratories for sterilising samples and equipment.

Typical chamber volume

Units in this class commonly feature chamber volumes around 25 litres.

Power supply

Typically operates on a standard single-phase electrical supply, often 230V.

Sterilisation temperature range

Commonly provides sterilisation temperatures between 121°C and 134°C.

Footprint

Benchtop models like the 25B typically have a compact footprint suitable for laboratory benches.

Cycle types

Often includes pre-vacuum and post-vacuum cycles for effective sterilisation of porous loads and liquids.

Door mechanism

Units of this type commonly feature an automatic or semi-automatic door locking mechanism for safety.

• What is the typical turnaround time for a sterilisation cycle?

Cycle times vary depending on the load type and selected programme, but typically range from 20 minutes to over an hour, excluding heating and cooling phases.

• Does this unit require a dedicated water supply?

• What maintenance is typically required for a refurbished autoclave?

• Is training typically provided for operating this equipment?

• What kind of waste can be sterilised in a unit like this?

Autoclaves and steam sterilizers are regarded as essential, reliable equipment across laboratories, biotech and pharmaceutical facilities. Buyers typically value units with consistent steam penetration and validated cycles. When purchasing used models, inspecting chamber integrity, gasket condition and calibration records proves important. Industry sentiment favours machines from established manufacturers with accessible spare parts and service support. Robust construction and proven track records in demanding sterilisation applications are common strengths cited by buyers evaluating used equipment.
