Typical diameter

For this class of equipment, diameters commonly range from 0.8m to 1.5m, with 1m being a frequent size.

Construction material

Units of this type typically feature stainless steel contact parts and frames, suitable for food environments.

Power supply

Commonly requires a standard single-phase electrical supply, typically 230V, for the rotating mechanism.

Adjustability

Many units include adjustable feet for levelling and integration with existing line heights.

Speed control

Variable speed control is commonly found on units of this type, allowing adjustment to production rates.

Footprint

The footprint is primarily determined by the table diameter, plus any motor housing or control panel.

• What kind of products can this table handle?

Rotating tables are versatile and can handle a wide range of discrete food products, including jars, bottles, pouches, and small packaged goods, as well as some bulk items.

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

• Can the rotation speed be adjusted?

• What maintenance is typically required for a rotating table?

• How does a rotating table integrate into an existing production line?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
