Unknown - Lazy Susan Rotary Table

• Used for accumulating, buffering, or singulating products on a production line.
• Ideal for manual inspection, packing, or assembly stations in food processing.
• Facilitates smooth transfer of products between different conveyor systems or processing stages.
• Commonly employed in bakeries, confectioneries, and ready-meal production for handling small items.

Typical diameter

Lazy Susan rotary tables commonly range from 600mm to 1500mm in diameter, depending on the application and product size.

Construction material

For food processing, units are typically constructed from food-grade stainless steel (e.g., 304 or 316) for hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Power supply

Most motorised units for this class of equipment operate on a standard single-phase 230V, 50Hz supply, though some larger units may require three-phase.

Speed control

Variable speed control is commonly found on units of this type, allowing adjustment to match line speed requirements.

Load capacity

The load capacity typically varies by unit size and motorisation, often ranging from 20kg to 100kg for continuous operation.

Footprint

The footprint is primarily determined by the table diameter and the support frame, requiring adequate space for product accumulation and operator access.

• What products are best suited for a Lazy Susan rotary table?

They are best suited for handling small to medium-sized, stable products such as jars, bottles, pouches, trays, or individual food items that can accumulate without damage.

• Can this unit be integrated into an existing production line?

• What maintenance is typically required for a used rotary table?

• Are spare parts readily available for unknown manufacturer units?

• What are the benefits of a variable speed control?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
