MLS Acid clean steaming System

• Cleaning of laboratory glassware and plasticware in analytical laboratories.
• Decontamination of medical instruments and components in healthcare settings.
• Preparation of sample containers for trace element analysis.
• Cleaning of components in pharmaceutical research and development.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, internal chamber volumes typically range from 20 to 100 litres, accommodating various batch sizes.

Power supply

Units commonly operate on standard industrial single-phase (230V) or three-phase (400V) electrical supplies, depending on heating element requirements.

Temperature range

Operating temperatures for acid steaming cycles typically reach up to 120-150°C.

Materials of construction

Chambers and wetted parts are commonly constructed from acid-resistant materials such as PTFE, PFA, or specific grades of stainless steel.

Footprint

Benchtop or small floor-standing designs are common for this type of system, requiring a moderate laboratory footprint.

Acid compatibility

Systems are typically designed for use with dilute inorganic acids such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, or hydrofluoric acid.

• What is the primary benefit of an acid clean steaming system?

The primary benefit is the efficient, residue-free cleaning and decontamination of laboratory and medical equipment, particularly for trace analysis applications where conventional cleaning is insufficient.

• What type of contaminants can this system remove?

• Is specialised ventilation required for operation?

• What maintenance is typically involved?

• Can this system be used for all types of laboratory materials?

Lab cleaning equipment is valued for reliability and consistency in maintaining hygiene standards across laboratory and pharmaceutical settings. Buyers typically prioritise machines with straightforward maintenance records, durable construction, and compatibility with existing facility workflows. Used units from established manufacturers generally command confidence in the market. Key considerations include operational history, availability of replacement parts, and verification that equipment meets current regulatory requirements. Robust build quality and proven performance histories are common strengths cited by purchasers evaluating secondhand options.
