NNP Rotary table

• Accumulating products at the end of a processing line.
• Buffering products between different stages of a production process.
• Orienting products for subsequent packaging or inspection.
• Providing a workstation for manual sorting or assembly tasks.

Typical diameter range

Rotary tables in this class commonly range from 800mm to 1500mm in diameter.

Construction material

Units for food processing are typically constructed from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel for hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Power supply

This type of equipment commonly operates on a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz in the UK.

Speed control

Many rotary tables feature variable speed control, often via an inverter, to integrate with different line speeds.

Edge type

The table edge may be plain or have a raised lip to prevent products from falling off.

Height adjustment

Units commonly offer adjustable leg height to align with existing conveyor systems or machinery.

• What products are suitable for a rotary table?

Rotary tables are best suited for stable, non-fragile products such as bottles, jars, pouches, small boxes, and some packaged food items.

• How does a rotary table integrate into a production line?

• What maintenance is required for a rotary table?

• Can this type of table handle different product sizes?

• Are safety features included with rotary tables?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
