Stork 630mm Wire transfer Belt

• Transferring products between processing stages, such as after coating or frying.
• Cooling or drying applications where air circulation around the product is beneficial.
• Handling delicate or irregularly shaped food items that require a stable, open surface.
• Integrating into automated food production lines for continuous product flow.

Belt width

This unit features a 630mm wide wire mesh belt; other Stork wire transfer belts commonly range from 400mm to 1200mm.

Belt material

Typically stainless steel wire mesh, offering durability and hygiene for food contact applications.

Frame material

Commonly stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning in food environments.

Drive type

Units of this type typically use an electric motor with a geared drive, often variable speed for process flexibility.

Power supply

For this class of equipment, a 3-phase industrial power supply is common, typically 400V, 50Hz.

Typical throughput

Throughput is highly dependent on product characteristics and line speed, but these conveyors are designed for continuous, high-volume transfer.

Hygiene features

Design typically allows for easy cleaning and sanitation, with open frames and accessible belt sections.

• What are the advantages of a wire mesh belt for food transfer?

Wire mesh belts offer excellent air circulation, making them suitable for cooling, drying, or coating applications. Their open structure also allows for drainage and easy cleaning.

• Can this conveyor be integrated into an existing line?

• What kind of products is this conveyor suitable for?

• What maintenance is typically required for a wire mesh belt conveyor?

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

Buyers typically value conveyor systems for their reliability and longevity when well-maintained. Key considerations when purchasing used units include belt condition, motor functionality, frame integrity, and available spare parts. Industry sentiment emphasises the importance of verifying operational history and cleanliness standards, particularly for food handling applications. Common strengths include robust construction, relatively straightforward maintenance requirements, and cost savings versus new equipment. Reputable manufacturers' models tend to hold their value well and integrate readily into existing production lines.
