Icon Engineering - Box Rotation Stand

• Used in packaging lines for reorienting boxes or cartons for labelling, inspection, or further processing.
• Integrated into robotic pick-and-place systems to present products in a specific orientation.
• Utilised in assembly operations to allow access to multiple sides of a component without manual handling.
• Applied in quality control stations for visual inspection of all sides of a packaged product.

Typical load capacity

For this class of equipment, load capacities commonly range from 10 kg to 50 kg, depending on the specific design and motorisation.

Rotation angle

Units typically offer 90-degree or 180-degree rotation, often with adjustable stop positions.

Power supply

Commonly requires a standard industrial single-phase (230V) or three-phase (400V) electrical supply, often with pneumatic actuation for gripping or lifting.

Control interface

Typically integrates with existing PLC systems via digital I/O, or may feature a simple local control panel for standalone operation.

Cycle time

Rotation cycle times commonly range from 2 to 5 seconds, influenced by load and required angle.

Footprint

The footprint for a box rotation stand is typically compact, designed to fit within conveyor lines, often around 500mm x 500mm to 1000mm x 1000mm.

• What types of boxes can this unit handle?

Box rotation stands are generally designed for a range of carton and box sizes. Buyers should confirm the maximum and minimum dimensions the specific unit can accommodate.

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

• Can the rotation angle be adjusted?

• What maintenance is typically required?

• Does it come with a control system?

Rotary tables and indexing systems are valued in food processing for their reliability in automating product handling and storage workflows. Buyers typically prioritise stainless steel construction and corrosion resistance given food safety requirements. When purchasing used equipment, inspectors should check bearing condition, indexing accuracy, and cleanliness of surfaces. Industry sentiment favours models with straightforward maintenance and proven track records in high-volume production environments. Durability and precise positioning capabilities remain key strengths attracting continued buyer interest.
