Comunetti Weigher

• Dosing and weighing of granular products in food processing.
• Packaging lines requiring precise weight control for dry goods.
• Handling of products like coffee beans, nuts, pulses, or small confectionery.
• Integration into automated bagging or filling systems.
• Batching operations where specific ingredient weights are critical.

Typical capacity range

For this class of equipment, weighing ranges commonly span from 50g up to 5kg, with this specific unit noted for 100g to 3kg drops.

Power supply

Weighing and dosing machines typically require a standard industrial single-phase or three-phase electrical supply, commonly 230V or 400V, 50Hz.

Pneumatic requirements

Units with pneumatic elevators or components will require a compressed air supply, typically 6-8 bar.

Product compatibility

Designed for free-flowing, granular products; suitability for powders or sticky products would need verification.

Construction material

Components in contact with product are commonly made from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Footprint

The overall footprint will vary depending on the elevator and associated bagging equipment, but the weigher itself is typically compact.

• What kind of products can this Comunetti Weigher handle?

This unit is specified for whole coffee beans. Generally, these weighers are suitable for free-flowing granular products like grains, pulses, nuts, and some confectionery. Viscous or very fine powdered products may require different dosing mechanisms.

• Is this unit suitable for integration into an existing production line?

• What level of accuracy can be expected from a weigher of this type?

• What maintenance is typically required for a Comunetti Weigher?

• Can the weight range be adjusted on this machine?

Precision and portable balances are valued for their accuracy and reliability across laboratory and pharmaceutical settings. Buyers typically seek models with proven calibration stability and minimal drift over time. When purchasing used equipment, industry practice emphasises checking calibration certificates, verifying display functionality, and confirming availability of replacement parts. These instruments are generally regarded as durable workhorses that perform well if properly maintained. Key strengths include repeatability, compact design for space-constrained labs, and compatibility with existing analytical workflows.
