Easiweigh Midi

• Accurate portioning of dry and free-flowing granular products.
• Packaging of snacks, confectionery, nuts, and small hardware items.
• Integration into automated packaging lines, including Vertical Form Fill & Seal systems.
• Weighing of fresh or frozen food items, such as the previously mentioned chicken portions.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, typical weighments range from a few grams up to several kilograms per discharge.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a standard industrial single-phase or three-phase electrical supply, typically 230V or 400V, 50Hz.

Throughput

Throughput for linear weighers can vary significantly, but for a Midi model, it typically ranges from 10 to 30 weighments per minute, depending on product and target weight.

Construction materials

Components in contact with product are commonly made from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Footprint

The overall footprint, including the vibratory feeder and elevated conveyor, will vary, but buyers should anticipate a moderate space requirement suitable for integration into existing lines.

Weighing accuracy

Precision weighers like the Easiweigh Midi are designed for high accuracy, typically achieving tolerances within 0.5% to 2% of the target weight, depending on product characteristics.

• What kind of products is the Easiweigh Midi suitable for?

This type of linear weigher is well-suited for a wide range of free-flowing products, including granular, particulate, and small piece items. Its previous use with chicken portions indicates suitability for certain food products.

• What maintenance is typically required for a system like this?

• What are the benefits of a vibratory feeder and elevated conveyor in this system?

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

Precision and portable balances are valued for their accuracy and reliability across laboratory and pharmaceutical settings. Buyers typically seek models with proven calibration stability and minimal drift over time. When purchasing used equipment, industry practice emphasises checking calibration certificates, verifying display functionality, and confirming availability of replacement parts. These instruments are generally regarded as durable workhorses that perform well if properly maintained. Key strengths include repeatability, compact design for space-constrained labs, and compatibility with existing analytical workflows.
