Typical capacity

For this class of Ishida multi-head weigher, typical weighing ranges can be from a few grams up to several kilograms per discharge.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with appropriate amperage.

Number of heads

The '2XX' in the model name suggests this is part of the CCW-S series, which commonly features 10, 12, 14, or 16 heads for optimal speed and accuracy.

Construction material

Ishida multi-head weighers are typically constructed from food-grade stainless steel for hygiene and durability, particularly contact parts.

Throughput

Depending on the number of heads and product characteristics, these machines can typically achieve speeds of 60-120 weighments per minute or higher.

Accuracy

Ishida weighers are known for high precision, typically achieving accuracy within 0.5-1.5g for many applications.

Precision and portable balances are valued for their accuracy and reliability across laboratory and pharmaceutical settings. Buyers typically seek models with proven calibration stability and minimal drift over time. When purchasing used equipment, industry practice emphasises checking calibration certificates, verifying display functionality, and confirming availability of replacement parts. These instruments are generally regarded as durable workhorses that perform well if properly maintained. Key strengths include repeatability, compact design for space-constrained labs, and compatibility with existing analytical workflows.
