Koppens VM900HS Former

• Producing consistent shapes for meat products such as burgers, nuggets, and schnitzels.
• Forming fish products like fish cakes and portions.
• Creating various shapes for plant-based alternatives and vegetable patties.
• Used in high-volume food processing lines for portion control and product uniformity.

Typical belt width

This specific unit features a 900mm wide belt, which is a common size for high-throughput industrial forming.

Construction material

Units of this type, including this one, are typically constructed from stainless steel for hygiene and durability in food processing environments.

Throughput

For this class of equipment, throughput can vary significantly based on product type and mould configuration, but high-speed operation is typical.

Power supply

Industrial forming machines commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz in the UK, with specific power ratings depending on motor size.

Control system

Modernised units, such as this one with a recently installed new electrical panel, often feature PLC-based controls for precise operation and recipe management.

Maintenance considerations

Regular cleaning and inspection of forming plates, belts, and drive components are essential. The stainless steel construction aids in sanitation.
