NNP NNP Gravity roller conveyor drawbridge

• Used in food processing lines to bridge gaps for personnel or equipment access.
• Ideal for creating flexible conveyor layouts where temporary breaks are required.
• Suitable for integrating into existing gravity roller systems for product transfer.
• Can be deployed in packaging areas requiring intermittent access to the conveyor path.

Typical capacity

Typically handles light to medium loads, depending on roller and frame construction.

Power supply

Gravity roller conveyors, including drawbridges, are typically unpowered and rely on product momentum or manual push.

Construction material

This unit is stainless steel, commonly used in food processing for hygiene and corrosion resistance.

Roller type

Typically features free-spinning rollers, often made from stainless steel or food-grade plastic.

Operating mechanism

Drawbridges commonly operate via manual lift, sometimes assisted by gas struts or counterweights for ease of use.

Hygiene considerations

Stainless steel construction facilitates easy cleaning, crucial for food processing environments.

• What kind of products can this drawbridge handle?

It is suitable for conveying items with a flat, firm base, such as boxes, crates, or trays, within a food processing environment.

• Is this unit suitable for washdown environments?

• How is the drawbridge secured in the open or closed position?

• Can this drawbridge be integrated with existing conveyor systems?

• What maintenance is typically required for a gravity roller drawbridge?

Buyers typically value conveyor systems for their reliability and longevity when well-maintained. Key considerations when purchasing used units include belt condition, motor functionality, frame integrity, and available spare parts. Industry sentiment emphasises the importance of verifying operational history and cleanliness standards, particularly for food handling applications. Common strengths include robust construction, relatively straightforward maintenance requirements, and cost savings versus new equipment. Reputable manufacturers' models tend to hold their value well and integrate readily into existing production lines.
