What is the typical footprint of a Rodwell Ambassador autoclave?

Floor-standing autoclaves like the Ambassador model typically have a footprint ranging from 800mm x 800mm to 1200mm x 1200mm, depending on the chamber size.

What kind of maintenance does this equipment require?

Regular maintenance typically involves checking seals, filters, and safety valves, along with periodic calibration and pressure vessel inspections as per UK regulations.

Can this autoclave be used for liquid sterilisation?

Yes, units with advanced controllers like the MP25 are typically suitable for liquid sterilisation, often featuring controlled cooling cycles to prevent boil-over.

What certifications should I look for?

Buyers should ensure the unit complies with relevant UK pressure equipment regulations (e.g., PSSR 2000) and has current calibration certificates.

Is installation complex for this type of autoclave?

Installation typically requires professional setup due to plumbing for water and drainage, electrical connections, and often a steam vent to atmosphere.
