Stein XL 600mm Breader

• Applying a dry coating (e.g., breadcrumbs, flour, spices) to meat, poultry, or fish products prior to further processing or cooking.
• Used in facilities producing breaded cutlets, nuggets, or other coated protein items.
• Integrated into production lines for prepared meals, catering, or retail packaging.

Typical belt width

For this model, the belt width is stated as 600mm, which is a common size for medium to high-volume production.

Throughput

Throughput for breading machines of this class typically depends on product size, belt speed, and coating material, often ranging from several hundred kilograms to over a tonne per hour.

Power supply

Units of this type commonly require a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, for the main drive and ancillary components.

Drive system

This unit features a hydraulic drive, which is known for its smooth operation and precise speed control, commonly found on robust industrial equipment.

Footprint

The footprint for a 600mm breader typically ranges from 1.5m to 2.5m in length, plus space for infeed/outfeed conveyors and operator access.

Construction material

Industrial breading machines are typically constructed from food-grade stainless steel to meet hygiene standards and ensure durability in processing environments.

• What products can be processed by a breading machine of this type?

This type of breading machine is suitable for applying dry coatings to a wide range of products including chicken fillets, fish portions, red meat cuts, and various formed products.

• What maintenance is typically required for a hydraulic breader?

• Can this machine apply different types of coatings?

• Is a new power pack a significant advantage?

• What is the typical belt speed range?

Meat coating equipment holds a solid reputation for improving product consistency and presentation in poultry and meat processing operations. Buyers typically prioritize even coating application, ease of cleaning, and durability of contact surfaces when selecting used units. Key strengths include reduced product waste, faster processing speeds, and minimal operator intervention required. Potential purchasers should examine coating drums or belts for wear, verify spray nozzle functionality, and confirm electrical and mechanical components operate smoothly. Well-maintained machines generally deliver reliable performance in demanding production environments.
