Turbo Tools - Turbo Systems 6/3 Head Index Depositing Line

• Depositing batter for cupcakes and muffins into baking trays.
• Filling individual dessert pots or small containers with viscous products.
• Accurately portioning sauces or purees onto ready meal components.
• Creating multi-layered confectionery items with precise ingredient placement.

Typical capacity

Throughput varies significantly based on product viscosity, portion size, and indexing speed, but units of this class can typically achieve several thousand deposits per hour.

Power supply

Commonly requires a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with a compressed air supply for pneumatic components.

Number of depositing heads

This unit features a 6/3 head configuration, indicating flexibility for different product layouts or simultaneous depositing of multiple components.

Product suitability

Designed for viscous products such as cake batter, muffin mix, creams, and sauces.

Indexing mechanism

Utilises an indexing conveyor system for precise positioning of trays or containers under the depositing heads.

Construction materials

Typically constructed from food-grade stainless steel for contact parts, ensuring hygiene and durability.

• What does '6/3 head' mean for this depositing line?

The '6/3 head' configuration typically indicates that the machine can operate with either six depositing nozzles for wider trays or three nozzles for narrower applications, offering operational flexibility.

• Is this machine suitable for products with particulates?

• What kind of maintenance is typically required for a used depositor?

• Can this depositor handle different product viscosities?

• What footprint does a line of this type typically require?

Food depositors are valued for their precision, consistency and reliability in portioning applications across bakery, confectionery and prepared foods sectors. Buyers typically prioritise machines with minimal wear, clear maintenance histories and compatible control systems. Key strengths include durability when properly serviced, adaptability to various product viscosities, and straightforward operation. When purchasing used equipment, inspecting nozzles, pumps and pneumatic components is essential, as wear directly affects deposit accuracy. Machines from reputable manufacturers with documented service records generally command buyer confidence and deliver strong long-term value.
