MAREL/CARNITECH - MAREL 2630

• Used in large-scale fish processing plants for high-volume filleting.
• Suitable for primary processing of salmon and similar fish species.
• Integrated into production lines for consistent product output.
• Utilised by seafood processors aiming to automate and increase efficiency in filleting operations.

Typical throughput

Units of this class commonly process a significant number of fish per minute, varying by fish size and machine configuration.

Power supply

Typically requires a three-phase industrial electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz, with specific amperage requirements.

Material construction

Generally constructed from food-grade stainless steel to meet hygiene standards and ensure durability in wet environments.

Water consumption

Units of this type typically require a continuous supply of water for cleaning and lubrication during operation.

Fish size range

Designed to handle a specific range of fish sizes, typically for salmon and trout, which buyers should verify with the seller.

Automation level

These machines are highly automated, reducing manual labour and increasing processing consistency.

• What type of fish can this machine process?

The MAREL 2630 is primarily designed for filleting salmon and similar fish species such as trout. Buyers should confirm suitability for other specific fish types with the seller.

• What are the typical maintenance requirements for a used unit?

• Does this machine come with spare parts?

• What footprint does a machine like this typically require?

• Can this machine be integrated into an existing processing line?

Fish equipment in food processing is generally well-regarded for durability and reliability when maintained properly. Buyers typically value robust construction and ease of cleaning. When purchasing used fish processing equipment, buyers should inspect for corrosion, verify mechanical functionality, and confirm hygiene compliance standards. Common strengths include longevity with proper maintenance, straightforward operation, and cost effectiveness compared to new alternatives. Stainless steel components and established brand reliability are frequently prioritized considerations in the secondhand market.
