Benier - Conical Rounder

• Artisan bakeries for shaping various dough types.
• Industrial bread production lines for consistent rounding.
• Pizzerias requiring uniform dough balls for bases.
• Pastry manufacturers for pre-shaping dough prior to further processing.

Typical capacity

Units of this type commonly handle dough pieces ranging from 50g to 1000g, with throughput varying based on dough weight and machine speed.

Power supply

While this specific unit is single phase, conical rounders are typically available in single-phase (230V) or three-phase (400V) configurations, depending on motor size and required output.

Construction material

Components in contact with dough are typically food-grade stainless steel or suitable food-safe plastics for hygiene and durability.

Footprint

For this class of equipment, a conical rounder typically requires a floor space of approximately 1.5m x 1.5m, though variations exist.

Dough type suitability

Commonly suitable for a wide range of dough consistencies, from soft to medium-stiff, though extremely wet or sticky doughs may require specific coatings or flour dusting systems.

Adjustability

Units typically feature adjustable rounding tracks or cones to accommodate different dough piece sizes and desired rounding intensity.

• What maintenance is typically required for a conical rounder?

Routine cleaning of dough contact surfaces, checking and lubricating moving parts, and periodic inspection of belts and electrical components are commonly required. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for specific schedules.

• Is a conical rounder suitable for gluten-free dough?

• What safety features are commonly found on these units?

• How does a conical rounder integrate into a production line?

Dough dividers and rounders are valued in bakeries for their consistency and labour savings. Buyers typically prioritize robust construction and reliable portioning accuracy when selecting used models. Industry sentiment reflects appreciation for machines that handle various dough types without jamming. Common strengths include durability of mechanical components and straightforward maintenance. Potential buyers should inspect wear on rollers and dividing mechanisms, verify motor function, and confirm spare parts availability before purchase.
