Erica Record - ICA VACUUMPACK (FB67 CORTO+AV57+RS20 S+GV36 P+RT/PS+3 PV2)

• Vacuum packaging of ground coffee and coffee beans to preserve aroma and extend shelf life.
• Modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) for various food products requiring gas flushing.
• Producing brick-style or soft packet bags for granular or powdered goods.
• Packaging products where high seal integrity and protection from oxidation are critical.

Typical throughput

For this class of equipment, throughput commonly ranges from 20 to 45 bags per minute, depending on bag size and product density.

Bag types

Units of this type are typically capable of producing hard or soft packet-shaped bags, often with options for one-way valve application.

Packaging format

Commonly reel-fed, forming bags from a continuous film, suitable for vacuum or gas-flushed packaging.

Power supply

Industrial vacuum packaging lines typically require a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V, 50Hz, with varying power consumption based on configuration.

Air requirements

Pneumatic systems are commonly integrated, requiring a supply of compressed air, typically 6-8 bar.

Footprint

A modular line of this nature typically requires a significant operational footprint, varying with the number and arrangement of integrated modules.

• What products can this type of vacuum packaging line handle?

This type of line is primarily designed for granular or powdered products, such as coffee, pulses, or certain snack foods, which benefit from vacuum or modified atmosphere packaging.

• Can this machine be reconfigured for different bag sizes?

• What is the purpose of the one-way valve application?

• What is Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP)?

• What maintenance is typically required for such a line?

Vacuum packaging equipment holds a solid reputation in food processing for extending shelf life and maintaining product quality. Buyers typically prioritize seal consistency, chamber durability, and ease of operation when selecting used models. Industry sentiment favours machines with reliable vacuum pump performance and straightforward maintenance access. Common strengths include cost savings over new equipment, proven track records from established manufacturers, and compatibility with various packaging materials. Prospective buyers should inspect sealing bars, vacuum gauges, and prior service history carefully.
